Hello, there! I’m Ms. Phillips, your speech-language pathologist here at Midway Elementary. I am originally from Walterboro, SC and will soon be moving to the Camden area. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Winthrop University and my master’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from South Carolina State University. I’m thrilled to be here and can’t wait to help our amazing students grow in their communication skills!
Hi! I am Crystal McInvaille. I am excited to be teaching kindergarten at Midway. I've been teaching for 24 years in all grade levels from 2K-6th grade. My family lives in Camden and we have lots of pets. I love to spend time with my family, travel, and read in my spare time. I spend a lot of time studying and writing while I work on my doctorate degree. I hope to graduate in May!
My name is Lori Meyers. I moved to the Kershaw Community in February of 2024, living on a small farm. This is my 21st year as an educator and I am very proud to work with children, families, and other educators! My favorite quote is a combination of Thomas Edison and an anonymous writer. "The expert has found more ways that did not work than the beginner has tried."
My name is Ellen Wolf and I have been an educator for the past 18 years teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am happy to be a part of the Bobcat family and look forward to a wonderful school year.
Hello! My name is Tara Miyasaki, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new art teacher. With over 20 years of experience as a visual arts educator, most of which I have spent in Kershaw County, I am passionate about fostering creativity and artistic expression in my students. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two adult children. I am eager to embark on this new journey and inspire my students to explore their creativity and develop their unique artistic voices. Fun Fact: I love to play animal crossing.
