April 8, the first day back to school after KCSD’s Spring Break, falls on the same day of the solar eclipse crossing North America. Kershaw County School District plans to operate on a regular schedule that day.

With the threat of strong wind gusts and possible severe weather beginning tomorrow afternoon and continuing into the evening, all Kershaw County School District (KCSD) schools and offices will close early Friday, January 12.
All Kershaw County School District schools will shift to e-learning on Tuesday, January 9, as potentially severe weather is predicted in our area. All school buildings will be closed. All afterschool activities and sports are also canceled for Tuesday, Jan 9.
